Getting back on track

RIM is finally detailing what is happening with its data outage, somehthing that has seen the service out of action for over 3 days, after being rather slow in explaining what is going wrong.?
It is the first time the company has actively given details of what is happening rather than just saying a fix is coming.?

Google has announced yet more features for its social network as it tries to give people yet more reasons to use the service.
“Today we’re rolling out two new features: 1) real-time search results; and 2) improved hashtag support. Together, we’re trying to make it easier to follow and contribute to live events on Google+, including breaking news, sporting events, and many others,” writes Vic Gundotra via Google+ about the new features.

Apple is on an updating spree, as it looks to update all of its products to fit in with the company’s new iCloud service.
It has updated its phone operating system to iOS 5; its desktop operating system, Mac OS X 10.7.2; and Apple TV too, all so you can stream your photos from device to device without having to lift a finger.

New features and bug fixes

Alongside the OS 5 update?rolled out by Apple for all iPhone and iPad users, Apple has also rolled out an update for its desktop operating system -?Mac OS X Lion.

Conference call sheds little light

Research In Motion has given more information on why many of the company’s users have been without emails for the last 3 days, but has failed to say when the BlackBerry email service will be back to normal.?
