Samsung has recently released the Wave 2, the less costly offspring of Samsung’s popular Wave phone. Though the Wave garnered a large following, its higher cost kept many buyers away. With the Wave 2, Samsung is hoping to capture a larger slice of the smartphone market, particularly those who may not have as much money to spend on a new phone. The Wave 2 is priced to attract students and young adults, who represent the majority of social networkers, but typically do not have a great deal of income to spend. To keep the price down, Samsung did make some changes to the Wave 2, but it still has many of the original Wave’s great features.

Tired of the time and frustration of pecking long messages on full keyboards that can not keep up with all you have got to say? The Samsung Wave 2 takes the full QWERTY keyboard one step further, by combining the feature with predictive text. No more tedious typing. And how you view your messages and images can now be controlled with a twist of the wrist with the Wave 2’s accelerometer that automatically rotates the screen from landscape to portrait. Navigating your way through the phone’s many features also becomes second-nature with the TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

The Wave 2 comes with 80MB of internal storage to store contact and other basic media. For the serious multi-media user, the Samsung Wave 2 comes equipped with a microSD slot for up to 16GB of expandable memory – an option to take advantage of if the user wants to play back MP3’s or use the 3 megapixel camera to shoot still images or SD video. It even comes with image editing software to touch up your images on the go, along with MP4 video viewing capabilities. The expansion slot provides another handy feature – the user can use separate cards for various media and interchange cards as desired.

Like most major smartphone manufacturers, Samsung offers its own social networking aggregator, similar to HTC’s Friend Stream, Sony Ericsson’s Timescape of Motorola’s Motoblur. Samsung’s Social Hub maintains all your contact details, email accounts and social networking services in one location for easy access. With just your Wave 2 in hand, you will be able to share a favorite joke with all your friends, manage your account information or see what everyone else is talking about. Social Hub means you can now view and respond to messages, check your social networks and send emails from multiple service providers without having to access each individual network.

Another popular Samsung feature is the 3.2″ 240×400 TFT LCD touch screen. With its 256,000 color capacity and relatively large screen, the Wave 2 is a great way to enjoy video clips or share pictures. You can also enjoy a wide variety of audio formats, including mp3, wav and eAAC+. Or you can relax with your favorite radio station with the fully integrated FM stereo. The Wave 2 is more than just another smartphone; it is an entire personal entertainment system.

Camcorders can help you keep those special moments vivid. There a wide range of camcorders from JVC, Canon, Sony, Samsung, Hitachi, Panasonic and Flip Video Family of Camcorders.

Before you fall in love with just any old camcorder, you need to know precisely what you’re looking for, lest you realise someplace down the road that you chose the wrong machine. Ask yourself the hard questions, and then match your needs to one of these user profiles. To get smart on the audio specs that matter for your user type, take a look at our section on capturing good sound with video.

Buying a camcorder stuffed with button and knob might be great thing to brag about to your friends, but if do not know how, why or what there do, it may be enough to push the owner over the edge and in the end give up altogether.

Camcorders market is highly competitive with varing price across the board , so you need to to trend carefully These are the three key resolutions for HD ready Displays and recording devices. The numbers relate to 720/1080 lines of vertical resolution (or lines of pixels) in your TV or camcorder. The greater the number, the higher the image calibre.1080 (or 1920×1080 pixels) is resolution for true, Full High Definition (HD). The ‘I’ stands for interlaced, the ‘p’ for progressive.

The ordinarily, the more you spend, the greater the calibre and features – but that’s not always the case. In addition, if you are just starting out, buying a camcorder stuffed with buttons and knobs that you will never use (though may enjoy vocalizing your friends down the pub about) may be enough to push you over the edge and make you give up altogether. It is often only when you have actually held a camcorder in your hands and used it for a while that you really get to know it.

A particular camcorder may have a feature that no other in the price band has – for example, the power to shoot in total darkness or to edit footage from within the camcorder itself. Many users are concerned in lenses, optical cognitive process like power of the zoom, can it focus on fast moving subjects, and will it record accurate colours in tricky indoor outdoor lighting situations?

These are the real -life usage challenges of a decent enough quality for all but the most critical. Buying a camcorder is a personal thing, too. It’s about how it feels to you when you hold it in your hand, so shop around for good deals and to verification out which camcorder suits you best for the type of subject matter and memories you want to record. Few of latest models , Canon Legria HF S11 , Panasonic HDC -SD200 but like so many new model you have to rob a bank to by one.

But there are those camcorders out that deliver on prices such as Toshiba Camileo P30, Samsung HMX -U10 and Flip Mino HD. Here are just a few of Latest Camcorders from: £111 / $173 to £130 / $ 202.

Toshiba Camileo P30

£120 /$ 187

The Camileo P30 falls into the relatively new ‘pocket camcorder’ category, as exemplified by Sanyo’s small, lightweight Xacti models or the Flip Video range. Indeed, the P30 even mimics the Xacti pistol-grip design. In fact, it does it so closely that we wouldn’t be surprised if Sanyo’s chief designer had been moonlighting in the Toshiba labs. In the P30’s case, the design certainly makes for jacket-friendly weight and dimensions. It weighs around 160g with battery and memory card, and measures just 104mm along its longest edge. These proportions may not be quite as small as the new breed of pocket Internet camcorders such as the Creative Vado HD, so it’s not quite trouser-friendly. But it wouldn’t ruin the cut of a jacket, and Toshiba supplies a handy pouch for protection. This is particularly useful as, bizarrely, Toshiba has continued its recent trend of not including a lens cap, so you better be careful not to scratch or get dirt on the optics. More importantly, it’s equipped with the sort of features we’d expect to find in more expensive, semi-serious camcorders. The P30 not only has a 5x optical zoom, but also a macro mode, digital image stabilisation (limited to 720p mode and below), an LED light/flash for dim conditions and five megapixel still image capture. it is a bit of a pipe dream, with low-light performance the main deal breaker.

Although image quality in the best conditions is acceptable for the price, if you want a cheap camcorder to capture a few family moments, a more dependable standard definition model is more appropriate.

Verdict on Toshiba Camileo P30

If you’re looking for your first camcorder, or simply want a no fuss, no frills model to shoot video for fun and for social networking sites, such as You Tube, Myspace or Facebook, then the P30 is just for you.

Flip Mino HD

£130 / $ 202

Verdict on Flip Mino HD The Flip Mino HD is Not Designed to contend with a larger camcorder, like a Samsung HMX20C or Cannon HF100, bur as a stand -alone fun unit, it score.

The Flip Mino HD feels solid but is extremely lightweight for its size, and, therefore, one wants to think it is fragile. It can be said that it’s pretty sturdy and scratch resistant. Feathers rarely break when dropped. The Flip Mino HD isn’t featherlight of course, and doesn’t slowly float to the ground, but having dropped it several times from about four feet at the highest and about a foot at the lowest, I can tell it’s well enough built to survive the normal tumbles that cellphones-sized devices tend to take from time to time as they’re knocked off desks or dropped out of pockets.

The body of the Flip Mino HD is made from a very glossy plastic that is like a magnet for your fingerprints. These are both inevitable and unavoidable no matter how clean your hands, so if fingerprints are a pet peeve of yours, this alone may be a deal breaker for you. Despite its ultra-shininess, the device isn’t slippery in the least and has a nice grip. The Screen Measuring only 1.5 inches corner to corner, the screen on the MinoHD is not just small, it’s tiny. Since the device records in 16:9 aspect ratios, the video doesn’t even take up the full height of the screen. The strips at the top and bottom of the video give you metadata like how much recording time is left, whether you’re recording or not, how far along in play back you are, and a battery indicator.

FlipShare TV offers the ultimate home movie experience by making it easy to watch your entire Flip Video library wirelessly on your TV or HDTV in the comfort of your own home. FlipShare TV wirelessly connects your computer to your TV, allowing you to bring your videos, home movies, and still-image snapshots from the computer screen to the big screen. Simply connect the FlipShare TV Base to your TV, plug the USB Key into your computer, and start enjoying all your Flip video content on your TV. It’s that simple.

Your family and friends can use FlipShare TV to enjoy the Flip videos and content you’ve shared with them via the FlipShare software’s Flip Channel feature—even if they don’t own a Flip Video camcorder themselves. When you add new content to a specific Flip Channel, your friends and family are automatically notified. And if they have a FlipShare TV, they’ll be able to enjoy that content immediately, directly on their TV.

Samsung HMX U10

£111 / $173

An interesting design doesn’t offset the so-so video quality and performance, especially for the higher priced HMX-H106, H105, and H104. If you’re set on this series, though, the no-memory-included Samsung HMX-H100 is probably the best deal of the bunch.

Samsung attempts to differentiate the bulk of its HD camcorder line by incorporating SSD–solid-state drive–storage compared to competitors’ traditional hard disks, regular old built-in flash, or simply removable flash cards.

This is a rather flimsy thread to hang a strategy on. While SSD theoretically confers a size advantage over hard disks, Samsung’s core line of four HD camcorders–the HMX-H106, the H105, the H104, and the H100–are however? comparatively large, and larger than a typical card-based model. The models are identical save the built-in storage, which starts at none (SDHC card only) and tops off at 64GB.

Samsung’s new HMX-U20 range wants to remedy this. Adept at both taking still images and filming video footage the device is being touted as an ultra-compact camcorder.

Digital camcorders have seen great advances in engineering with higher quality images with High Definition digital camcorders, larger memories and increased functionality for image settings and redaction. Whether you’re an amateur film maker or simply want to capture family moments, the range of digital camcorders useable is so comprehensive there’s sure to be a suitable camcorder for you.

In fact there many very good High definition camcorders on the markets with price range from £100/ $156 to £180/ $281, like JVC Picisio GC – FM1 . Sanyo Xacti VPC-TH1, Toshiba Camileo H10. Camcorder retailing is highly competitive so prices vary widely and can change quickly. So they you have some of the Best Buy Camcorders.
