Panasonic Expands 3MOS Range

 

Panasonic’s three chip line up get a new increment with an emphasis on portability .

Panasonic has announced the launch of the HDC- SD600 , a three CMOS camcorder that replaces the elderly SD200. The SD600 slots into the existing 3MOS line along with the TM700 and HS700 and, as with those camcorders , combines its three chips with another singular selling point, all to help the customer pick  the right camcorder  . In the case of the SD600, its portability, as it’s the most compact camcorder in the 3MOS range thanks to the removal of the EVF and some manual modes.

The SD600 has a 35mm wide-angle lens allied with a 12 x optical zoom, and records full HD footage at a resolution of 1920 x 1080p at 50 frames per 2nd. The SD600 combines face recognition along with intelligent auto mode and optical image stabiliser .

Sacrificing the space normally taken up by a viewfinder over portability along with the picture caliber that comes with three –chip imaging.

They’re also littler and lighter than ever before, having switched to solid state drivers with no moving parts.

Samsung and DivX Collaboration

 Samsung and DivX join Forces on new video phones

DivX and Samsung have come together to apply the latter’s DivX HD codec on Samsung’s new Wave phone, and have announced that Samsung’s impending Galaxy S phone will also have DivX certifications. The Wave is the world’s first mobile phone to be DivX certified.

Most common formats for sharing video online remains the DivX and on mobile devices, with the inclusion of its HD  will be a must for any video enthusiasts . Particular interest should be taken with the Wave and Galaxy S use different platforms , with the   latter using Google’s Android mobile phone OS, while the Wave uses Samsung’s own Bada platform, so users will be able to make a choice based on their based on their favorite(a) systems without sacrificing the possibility of 720p HD playback
